After the riotous critical success of her role debut as Lulu, the โgrandiose sopranoโ (FAZ) has been nominated for both prestigious German Theater Prize Der Faust for her portrayal of Lulu, and Opus Klassikโs Singer of the Year for her interpretation of Bubikopf in her recording of Der Kaiser von Atlantis. Juliana was featured on the cover of the May 2023 edition of Opernwelt Magazine.
In the upcoming 2025/26 season, Juliana makes her house debut at Theater an der Wien as Cheshire Cat in Unsuk Chin's Alice in Wonderland. She will also perform Woglinde in a concert version of the Ring Cycle with the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra, and debut as Sลr Constance in Dialogues of the Carmelites at the Royal Theater Copenhagen. In concert, she will revive Puzzles and Games with both the Ann Arbor Symphony and the Mรผnchener Kammerorchester, and make her debut in Mahlerโs Symphony No. 4, performing with the Ann Arbor Symphony under the baton of Earl Lee.
Recently, Juliana performed Shoko in Thomas Larcherโs Das Jagdgewehr at Bayerische Staatsoper, Zerbinetta in Ariadne auf Naxos with Nederlandse Reisopera, and Najade in Ariadne auf Naxos at Opernhaus Zรผrich. She also appeared as Adina in Lโelisir dโamore at Theater Bonn and Staatstheater Darmstadt.
As a passionate performer of contemporary works, she has premiered several new operas, including Fabiร Santcovskyโs Transstimme at Munich Biennale and Miroslav Srnkaโs Singularity at Bayerische Staatsoper. Her other recent highlights include performing Gyรถrgy Ligetiโs Mysteries of the Macabre and debuting as Tinkerbell in Frank Schwemmerโs Peter Pan with the Luxembourg Philharmonic.
Juliana was a member of the ensemble at Staatstheater Darmstadt from 2021 to 2023 and a member of the Opernstudio at Bayerische Staatsoper from 2019 to 2021.
